Are you planning on eating a lot of the males? I heard one rooster to every 7-10 hens is good if you are just keeping them around. It seems like a great assortment! We are getting brown layers from McMurray next week. We are so excited! One thing I did was ordered a hot pack for them, which is $2.50. I had to call to order it, but lots of people seem to be getting dead chicks because of the cold. In Iowa where the chicks are shipping from it's freezing, and one operator said that the weather didn't get warm until April.

You are getting a very nice assortment of chickens! Are you planning on breeding with them?

That sounds like a beautiful assortment. My husband wants Golden Campines :) Hope to see pictures when they arrive if you get the chance to post them!
