I've been incubating eggs and some finally hatched! I just wanted to know if half breed chickens have specific names. The chicks dad is either a turken or a silkie, and its easy to tell the difference. One of the babies dad is a turken and the mom is a EE. So do they have real name or are they just called hybrids?

They would be called barnyard mixes, but I am super in love with that Naked neck one over there

My question is how did the naked neck be there? Naked necks are a spacific breed and it doesn't make sense if none of the parents are Naked Necks.

A turken is a naked neck, just a different name. I have a naked neck rooster
