I recently purchased 4 Andalusian Chicks from an East coast hatchery that caters to people that want less than 25 chicks in an order. I saw an add for them in a magazine and a reference for them in one of the chicken books that I am reading. To date all 4 have died. They arrived a day late and in a wet box. My existing 5 girls are now 3 weeks old and seem to be doing ok. Is there somthing I should be doing to ensure their health. BTW I am a nurse and breed exotic endangered macaws. THanks

I am just concerned that the respiratory infection that the deceased chicks came with could have infected the others. they seem to be doing ok as this is 2 days later but I am just concerned. I kept them apart, changed the bedding in the 5 older girls box but was just wondering. thanks
