Baby Duck Emergency!!!

Just this morning my duckling hatched. Everything seemed quite ok, until i noticed that it is having a standing up issue.
it just keeps lunging upwards and flopping onto its back, the repeating over and over and over again.

it has been doing this for about 5 hours in a row.


is it gonna be ok????????????

Give it time. It has been all tucked in the shell for so long it might just take a bit.

Look very similar to a duck I hatched last year- but worse actually. My duck was seen by a vet and was diagnosed as hatching with a vitamin deficiency. Have you got some Vitamin B handy?? Looks like this little one will need some extra attentio for a while- but the condition is treatable - I will PM you some information.
