baby duck food??

My order from ideal is being shipped out monday.........what kind of food do day old ducklings eat?? In the passed we got some buut there were already started on crack corn......

Purina Flock Raiser works well.

I'm using Purina Duck Starter on my ducklings and Purina Duck Grower for my adults. Not all Purina products are available everywhere...I have taken that issue up personally with our regional rep here, whom I know. That may or may not change, depending on market demand.

I used waterfowl starter with oatmeal, because it was 26% protein and I aim for 20% for the first two weeks. I now have them on Nutrena duck ration, 16% protein (they are four weeks old), with two cups of finely chopped greens a day (eleven ducklings). I also supplement vitamins and electrolytes once a week in their water. I gave them gro gel their first week.
