does anyone have picks of baby mallards?? and please feel free to post pics of your little ducklings or your adults

I don't own these guys, but there were a lot of them at the local lake this year. In the first pic, one got attacked by something, I don't know what. But, he was behaving normally and even playing with the other ducklings.

The second pic has one of my favorite ducklings who grew up to be very friendly most of the time and often comes up to me.

Some of them might be mixed with Rouen or even appleyard, but it's hard to tell the difference when they're ducklings.

She was a brat , and I loved her, lol. I had to rehome all my ducks though.

nope. she came from a wild mallard nest. My friends dog killed the mom.

Awww, that's too bad about the mom.

The reason why I asked is that where I live we also have wild ducklings that looked like that. They actually turned out to be either mallard-runner or runner-rouen mixes. All of them were single survivors, only one duckling no siblings. They were cute, though I could tell they looked different. The upright stance says runner, but the coloring is mallard. Even the head shape was different, more flat like a runner, but not exactly. We have two runner males at our lake that I know of and I think at least 4 runner mixes from 4 different moms.
