Baby duckling bleeding! HELP!! please

Ok so my duck was in the shell for two days and he hadn't really done anything and he look as if he was stuck so I lifted him out and he just slipped out fine, he didn't seem to get caught but then blood started coming from his belly, I don't think it had properly detached from it and it was bleed ing so I got some hitched roll and wrapped it round his belly, and I put him back in the incubator what have I done! Will he survive anybody please help I don't want him to die as I was only incubating 3 duck eggs and one is out the other one in the shell still seems lively and I'm going to leave him be but this one look tired and like it had given up, please help me !!

Just saw this - I am not a hatcher, but you probably did the best you could with the bleeding.

How did things turn out?

He died but I got two of them and they are running around in the brooder
