Baby duckling not making peeping sounds...mute?

Hey byc! I have a baby duckling that just hatched and it's not peeping or making any noises like the rest of them. Is it possible it could be a mute? Could someing be wrong with it?

How is your baby doing now?

It hatched but did not make it. It had a herniated belly button. Not sure what caused it :/

I am sorry to hear that. Very sad. Do you have any other eggs due to hatch?

Well I have one left in the incubator...a duck sitting on 24 eggs, and three hens sitting on a total of 100 eggs, (including a few duck under them as well which I will move to the incubator when the chicks hatch). The one that is in the incubator is pipping and hopefully will be out tonight or tomorrow! Thank you for your concern! I will post pictures of the newbie
