My doe recently had triplets, and one was a tiny runt that she didn't want and refused to take care of. He has been drinking milk, but only when we force him. We have to force the nipple into his mouth for him to start sucking on it and to actually drink any of the milk. He's active, walking around, and hasn't been screaming for food. He usually drinks about two ounces (he is a tiny kid, since he is a triplet and a runt) each time we force feed him.
So, what do I do? I don't want to force feed him and end up overfeeding him. Should I just wait until he starts actually wanting the food?
He's also currently biting my foot, so I an unsure if that means he wants to eat. He is still refusing the bottle.
(He's two days old now, and walking around)
