Hey!
My pilgrim goose hatched last night, maybe about 2 hours ago from 7am. He/She is still wet, but the question is here.
My female pilgrim goose laid the egg and sat on it until about 4 days ago, she just checked out. The first question is, why would she do that?
Second question- If I gave the goose back to her once it was dry and ready to eat, would she accept it? She is pretty broody, just has to be the right time.
Third question- If she doesn't accept it, what do I do?
