Baby quail hatched curled toes and matted fur

Hi,
My quail that just hatched today has matted fur and curled toes and can barely stand up or move the other quail in there seems to be fine apart from him just wondering what to do or if I should do aomething as I’m very inexperience with quails.

Give it 12-24 hours to see if it straightens up. If it doesn't you can try "shoes" made of card stock and tape to straighten up its toes. Sorry about the picture quality.

thank you so much just a tad concerned as he looks quite poorly in comparison to the ones born the same time as him

It might still be fine. Some struggle more than others. If it doesn't improve and the shoes don't work, worry about that then.
