This little white guy is going to need a new home. Got four chicks three weeks ago (so he's likely about three weeks old now) and looks like it's a rooster. We can't have a rooster where we are, unfortunately. He is an Easter Egger, and as you can see, very friendly. We are in southwestern Pennsylvania, about 30 minutes from Pittsburgh. Let me know if you might be able to give him a good home.

Greetings 1dog, 1cat...
I'm looking to adopt a rooster, (but was hoping for an adult). I live roughly 1 hours from you. He would be protecting my 15 very spoiled (daily) girls in a 8 x 16' enclosed run. I have 5 each of RIR, Barred Rock and ISA Brown and are quite friendly.

This little guy is still needing a new home!
I’ve read on here about putting him on Craigslist...I did and the only response I got was obviously a scam...like so many CL responses. It’s so annoying! It was an area code from Montana—I am in PA—and they wanted to “send me a number so they knew it wasn’t a scam”. With completely random punctuation and misspellings—a true sign of a scam.
Anyhow—-anybody near the Pittsburgh or Butler area that can give him a home??

Looks like the little guy will be leaving us this weekend or next. Found someone who is taking unwanted poultry for their homestead--for meat and eggs. So he will likely be their dinner one day. That's okay. I guess I'd prefer him to live, but at least he will be put to use in the end. And it will save us the task of 'dispatching' him....as we wouldn't be able to keep him till he was old enough to be butchered, and I couldn't do that anyway.
I am OK with him being dinner, just don't want to do that myself.

1Dog,1Cat:I apologize for not responding sooner. I’ve been attending to my father (84) who was fighting the Covid, but has since recovered. If it wouldn’t prevent an issue for you, I could meet you in the next few days. I can promise you that he would not end up as dinner, but be sole protector to my 15 girls.
