Bachelor Flock Next to Hens?

Hello! So I have discovered a few of my chickens that I thought were Thelma, Louisa, & Bertha are actually Theo, Louis, & Bert.

I’ve heard of people having bachelor pads. I’m thinking of separating all of the males in their own coop and run.

If they are next to the hen coop and run but separated by hardware cloth will that cause problems? Or do they need to be an entirely different area of the yard?

I’m trying to find ways to keep them so any feedback & recommendations welcome.

From my experience they need to be in a different area of the yard. At the least they shouldn't be able to see the hens. Hope this helps!
