Bachelor pad too small for 3 roos?

I have 1 rooster (10 months) and 2 cockerels (20 weeks old) that I need to cull. It's taking a lot longer than I thought to find new homes for them. Until I can figure out what to do, can I house them together for the time being in my grow out coop? It is a Producer's Pride Sentinel - is this too small?

Have they been together all along? If they have grown up together as long as they aren't bothering the hens it should be ok for them to be there. Without hens in the chicken coop I'm not sure how their behavior could change.

The two cockerels were hatched together and get along very well. They are actually a terrible duo of hormonally charged tag teamers and terrorize the rest of the flock. Their father is also terrible and I never should have bred him but I got a new incubator and wanted to try it out...

Now, I'm stuck with 3 aggressive males. The two cockerels are already isolated in the grow out coop and have been doing great so I was wondering if I could add in their OG father.

I guess my biggest question was if it wasn't too inhumane to keep 3 roos in one coop - the Producer's Pride Sentinel - as a temporary solution.

I looked at it. They say it holds 6 chickens so that means it holds 3. It should be okay as far as not cramping them too much.

Yes, it says 6 BUT you know how it goes lol they always overestimate. I just don't know enough about chickens yet to make these kind of judgement calls. 6 hens could be squeezed in tight, 3 or 4 could fit nice and snug but what about roosters?

Since it's not out-right inhumane, it looks like it's one of those trial and error scenarios! Wish me luck, haha. Thank you for looking!

Well, it is really not so much about the space although important, it is about the birds. They don’t call it cockfighting for nothing.

I think you should leave the sigh up, add FOR FREE!

Plan B is a dog crate, a fish net, long sleeved sweatshirt and leather gloves to separate fighting birds if needed.

Or you can just cull them, bury them and plant a rosebush.
