Back At It Again =)

I saved up about 14 button eggs and put them in on 9/14. Have been adding to it daily. Also got jumbo coturnix on day 16 today but I'm not holding my breath for those. IF anything hatches I'll be surprised. When I took them off the turner Friday they felt very light. I tried to candle but I'm not sure what I saw. They had air cells and were dark but just felt too light to me. Hopefully they are fine and I'm just used to chickens!!

I just threw 35 chicken (BR and EE) eggs in my bator along with 5 Button Quail... We're on Day 2. I said I was done the LAST hatch... funny what these birds do to you

Well I have to say that I'm shocked - just went to check on the jumbo coturnix and the eggs are pipping!!! Thought for sure the post office scrambled them!!!

Absolutely!!!!! Oh - check out the new post I just did in the coop building section. We made a button quail pen last night!

Thank god i dont have an incubator or id be in BIG TROUBLE! I have one broody hen sitting on what was 5 serama eggs but she rejected 3, I am waiting on 6+ serama eggs off of eggbid to stick under her I can't wait !!!! I told myself no more babies until next spring tooo but im having fuzzy butt withdrawls LOL! Good luck to everyone on their hatches
