My husband & I had to rehome our flock to a coworker when we moved back into town last fall. We always said that we’d like to get chickens again.
Well, TSC has their chick days going on. So on our trip to buy cat litter, we ended up coming home with 2 ISA Brown pullets & 2 Delaware White pullets.
We live in town, but have a large privacy fenced yard. The shed was set up as a chicken coop by the previous people, it just needs a couple spots of fencing patched. When we originally had our very first hens about 4yrs ago, it was when we lived in town as well. This yard is much more accommodating to chickens.
Our 3yr old daughter is excited. So now we have Owlet (from PJ Masks), Chickaletta (Paw Patrol), Tweety, & Daisy (Daisy Duck). I was very hesitant to get them right now, but I’m glad we did. Hope we can get eggs in the spring!
