Backwoods Country Marans

Has anyone ordered Marans from Backwoods Country? I'm having a moment of insanity, but before I send money I thought I would check here to see if it's worth it. I like that they are near me so the eggs won't have to travel far.

$60 for a dozen...which is the best price on Marans eggs I've seen...not that I'm bargain hunting.

You wont be sorry. I do Buddys fertility tests on his wheatons and bcs. and I live five miles from him. I go to his farm all the time and his stock is gorgeous and he keeps them extremely clean. His wheatons are the prettiest I have ever seen and doing his fertility I can tell you they are fertile. Out of all the times I have hatched for him only had a few that werent and the loses I had were quitters which is not a fertility problem. One of the nicest and most informative breeders I know and will help you and answer any questions you have just a all in all great guy and a great family to deal with. He is in partnership with Ron Presley.
