Backyard chickens in Harford County Maryland

Hi everyone,

I moved to Havre de Grace in Maryland and have 0.5 acres on which I was hoping to raise a couple backyard chickens. I think the rules are that you need at least 2 acres, but wasn’t sure as this seems like a lot... Please let me know if you have backyard chickens and how much acreage you have, plus anything else that I should know before making a decision.

I used to live in a city, and the rule was also 2 acres. I have chickens, and 11 acres.
