Hi there,
I help run/founded a young farmers club in England. We provide people aged 10-26 the opportunity to get up close and person
with a variety of animals, one of which is chickens
I am in the middle of designing our new health check sheets, these are given to our members they select a chicken of their choice
and work their way through the sheet. This is a great way of them learning about chicken husbandry as well as helping us to keep on top of our flock.
Its fairly straight forward for example one box says 'comb' and there is two boxes next to it saying 'signs of good health' and 'signs of poor health' and the members right what they believe to be signs of good/poor health.
I was wondering what you would include on your check list?? I''ve listed what I can think of but the people on here have helped me so much that I'm sure you will come up with things I have missed....
Thank you
