This is my first hatch, day 21 is over and so far I have 11 chicks, a 12th one hatched, but it had its guts hanging out (or at least that is what it looked like) and only lasted about 20 minutes. It hatched, totally unassisted, humidity around 70% after a jump when 3 eggs hatched almost at once, everything looked all tangled up, gross and wrong. But now the water in the humidity channels is off coloured, I still have eggs in there and I’m worried about contaminating the rest of the hatch with bacteria. Do I leave it alone or try to clean it out somehow. And if clean it out how, I only have the one incubator!

Don't do anything dramatic while eggs are hatching.
You can disinfect prior to the next setting.
Anything you do by opening the incubator can negatively affect the rest.
If there are pathogenic bacteria in the water, I doubt they will affect the hatch at this point.
The key is to go into a setting/incubation with a sterile incubator.

I removed dead chick and attached egg, I was just concerned about the remaining eggs dying from bacterial infection due to water contamination. I wanted to clean it but couldn’t figure out how to safely so I left it be. One more has hatched and 2 more pipped so far
