Two of my 10 week old "hens" ended up being roosters, one of which had been held back inside while recovering from coccidiosis… when reintroducing them to the flock it didn't go well. I had the 2 sickly/smaller ones separated, and one is a rooster and was fighting through the cage bars, doing all sorts of damage to himself. Things seem to have calmed down now, and I think they may actually be able to live together. But this guy's beak looks really bad - it's not open and seems scabbed over, but part of his beak is gone with the bone showing.
ANy thoughts on if this will heal? Should I be doing anything to it?
He's eating and drinking - seems okay except for his spirit a bit broken, but he will now sit on my lap.
