Hey all, have a weird question.
So I have These two rooster that killed two of my hens and I need to get rid of them. I don’t really want to eat them and I got this random idea of giving them to a raptor sanctuary to use as live bait for the hawks and eagles. Have any of you heard of this before? Or what else could I do with them?

I'd rather kill them humanely and then give them to the sanctuary than let them be killed by raptors.

any suggestions of what to do with them the? No one in my house has the heart to kill them.

I don't have the heart to cull birds either, but, not to be insensitive to your problem, your solution is much worse for the animals than a humane kill.

Post them on craigslist or a facebook group specifying they're mean and need to be culled but it isn't something you're willing to do.

You can also look around locally and see if there are any Businesses that butcher live animals for you. We have one here that charges 1.50 a chicken and will clean it for you to pick up within 3 days.

How did you find them? Are they listed as a Butcher or something else?

Yes, they're listed as a butcher. It's not in my immediate location but in the next town over about 20 minutes away.

Here the local butchers won't process people birds.

I don't know what your Mennonite population is, but a friend of mine has had success taking his birds to a local Mennonite farmer he knows who butchers and processes them.
