BAD BREATH BABY

I have an interesting question. I have a new 4 week old RIR who has smelled bad from day one. I can't tell if it's her breath or her. She's active. Has good poops eats well. Smell is a bit like what I imagin rotten olives would smell like. Should I be concerned? Is there something I can do for her. None of my other chicks stink.

I'd try a bathe before anything else. If the bath does nothing, she may have a crop issuse.

BTW, I'm seeing a lot of red in that comb....

Sigh. I know she might be a he. But I didn't buy a run or a rooster. My first set of RIR had a couple that looked like her so I'm crossing my fingers

If she is a he ill hide him as long as I can. No roos allowed in my hood.

I actually think cal ranch mixed up the RIR with Belgium broilers. So if she's seacreatly a meat bird ill still keep her for as long as she lives.
