Of course, that’s understandable, I couldn’t do one on mine!No way on earth I could do a home necropsy myself!
She was laid to rest at the bottom of our garden where she'll roam free forever.

give her electrolytes, if she drinks. I use Rooster Booster (Very Effective, Atleast for us)Hi everyone,
I have 1.5 year old Marans who stopped eating on Friday but was still drinking quite a bit. On Sat her breathing sounded like a low clucking. This got worse and she became very lethargic.
Yesterday I took her to the vet who said her lungs are very wet and gave her Marbocyl which I have to continue for 10 days. I was also given Azithromycin and told to start giving it to her if there was no improvement.
Her breathing is worse this morning and she's stopped drinking. She also doesn't want to stand up. I've tried giving her some water orally but she doesn't want it.
Apart from going back to the vet (not always available), is there anything I can try right now?
Any help appreciated as she's not in a good place.
Thanks.
I'm sorry to hear she passed <\3Thanks for the reply - much appreciated.
Unfortunately she just died so I've got nothing left to try.
