Bad feed??

I opened a bag purina flock raiser yesterday and it smells sour,I am not feeding it to the chickens,has anyone come across this problem before?It really stinks I thought I had a dead mouse or something then I smelled the feed and yuck! What would cause this and its powdery looking to and its pellets

It probably got wet or damp, if you found no dead mouse in it. Take it back to the feed store and get another bag, but check it before leaving.
