Well we had a hatch....
10 hatched out of 30. My fault partially, didn't mark the eggs.
Hens killed 4 litterally squashed the chicks tween eggs.
They left the nest today, eggs was cold.
Well I pulled the remaining eggs and started culling them. Of the 20 or so, two was still alive.
One was not far enough along to live,
The other one peeped when we cracked it.
I gently removed the fully developed chick from the egg. She is now dry and in the house. I'm keeping her warm and hope to introduce her to a hen tomorrow night. I'm hoping she lives anyway.
Shes warm now and sleeping under my cupped hand as I type.
Lets hope she lives that will give us 7 new chicks.
