I have a bunch of bad hay, moldy, wet and such. If I spread it in the pen, will the ducks get sick from it? I know chickens don't... Had em and tried it, they got a long just fine and loved to dig through it. Just wonderin about ducks!

The mold can kill the ducks if they eat it (and they will eat it!). I would play it safe and avoid using the hay as bedding.

I sure wouldn't use it...we had some very dry, non-nutritious hay that is like straw that my horses, understandably, wouldn't eat so it has been used as bedding, but it's not moldy. Mold can hurt a lot of animals because there are many kinds of mold...even if they could eat it safely, you don't necessarily want them breathing it.
