Bad Incubator, or Is Rooster Firing Blanks - what's wrong?

Our first 6 eggs have been duds. The temperature and humidifier in the incubator seem all fine. We have a Brinsea Mini. We are wondering if our rooster is firing blanks. Does this ever happen?

What suggestions do you have? We keep adding new eggs to the ones we take out and test when they candle as being duds.

Upon occasion a rooster may become sterile. Do a site search on 'bulls eye fertility' - several threads will come up with pictures showing the 'bulls eye' appearance of fertile eggs.

Also remember winter time eggs are less likely to be fertile give the old man a chance to warm up in spring before ya replace him
