So I decided to let my geese set their own eggs this year. I have one Embden hen, one Toulouse hen and one Embden gander. The Embden's managed to hatch their eggs without any issues. But the Toulouse is a different story. Her eggs just started hatching, and when they start hatching she removes the hatching gosling's from the nest. In which I have to take them and place them in the incubator to finish hatching. I saved one yesterday, as well as one this morning. I've also noticed that she will pick the babies in the eggs, making the vessels inside the shell bleed and making the goslingsg beaks red and bloody. I don't understand why she seems to reject that hatching eggs, the Embden I wasn't doing this at all. This is both of their first time brooding, btw.

Some geese just don't make good mamas they will brood happily but once hatching begins they freak out and don't know what to do, It's not the normal thing I don't think although I had a Muscovy ducks do the same thing her first time hatching. But I bet your Embden pair would adopt her goslings once they are sturdy enough to be put outside.

The goalings seem to be doing well, however I found one that the mom happened to remove a good portion of one of the babies top jaw, I can see his tongue and it doesn't look so good. It doesn't seem to bother him much but I am unsure if he will be able to eat properly

In order to assure the safe hatching of the rest of the eggs, I would suggest removing them and putting them in the incubator. With a careful reintroduction (through fencing) the mother or the Embdens may very well foster them.
