I'm wanting to start giving my flock(s), both chickens and muscovy ducks, more leftover foods and other foods, like older veggies and fruits. I don't know exactly what's bad for them so I came here for help.

I've did some searching and seen that avocado, onions, potatoes, raw beans and a bunch more stuff isn't good for chickens. What fruits/vegetables/plants are okay for chickens to eat?

What people food is okay for them? What about leftover foods like rice, cooked carcasses and other leftover foods.

I'm not sure about duck treats, but you can give chickens:
fruits like--watermelon, grapes, apple, pear, strawberries, blueberries, and tomato. Do not give citrus.
veggies like--broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, lettuce, cucumber, zuchinni, squash and bell peppers. do not feed potato, sweet potato, however, is ok.
you can give them meat but not too much.
they can have "chicken junk food" like mealworms, bread, oatmeal, and chicken treats that you can purchase at the store, but do not give them too much.

Potatoes are fine (in moderation) it's potato peelings (green ones in particular) along with the plant itself that are bad for them.

If you use salt on your dinner plate or use a lot of salt when cooking, best not to feed to chickens. Chickens need very little salt. They get all the salt they need in poultry feed.
Fruits past their prime, but not rotten like grapes, or a whole apple they love. But that's few and far between as I eat fruit daily, rarely get past prime. GC
