Bald crop?

My silkie’s crop is pretty big & bald. Is that normal? She’s acting fine, even though the pic might look otherwise

Is the crop emptying by early morning? What does it feel like now and again in the morning before she eats or drinks? Let us know It looks like it possibly is impacted. She might be pecking her crop if something is stuck or impacted. Here are some articles about crops and problems:
