Okay, so this is the smallest one of my 7 Australorp chicks, it's growing it new feathers really fast, has more than its siblings and has also been loosing more and more fuzz from its crop, I also noticed there is an air bubble betwen the skin layer and the crop, is this anything I should be concerned about?

Thanks in advance for anyone who replys :)

Sorry, I am not much help, but it may be a blister. Repost on the emergencies and you might get a better response.

My Blue Andalusian chick had this. The crop is too full. Take away food for 2 hours & it should go down. Mine did. Keep the water though. If it doesn't go away, of course you know you should take it to a vet.

. How is your chick? Has the bubble gone away yet?

Bubble has gone down, still there but half the size, its balding on the other side of the crop now too :(. Oh dear! Maybe see a vet then if you can. I'm sorry if I was incorrect. My Blue Andalusian's got really huge before I took food away for the night & in the morning it went down. I did leave grit in there too, which might have helped because she was eating that like crazy
