Bald spot on face?

Hi all!
Im new to chickens and a couple of my girls have a bald spot on their face. Im not sure if this is the other girls pecking them or something else. My girls are about 5 weeks old and have just really started to develop their pecking order but the spot doesnt seem tender. Any help would be appreciated!

Beginnings of ear lobes? that’s my guess. Haha. No clue otherwise.

Hi, just curious if you discovered the answer to the bald spot on the chicks face? I have a 6 week old barred rock with the exact same bald spots on each check that looks exactly like your picture. My other chicks (different types) do not have them, just her. Was wondered if you found a solution since I have the same issue?

Are you talking about the spot lower left of the eye? If yes, that's her ear lobe. It should be featherless.
