Bald Tummy?

Hi there.
I have a turkey and I noticed tonight when I was putting her in her coop that her tummy was bald. It's extremely cold outside and I've already separated her so a wound in her shoulder could heal without my chickens pecking on it. I don't have any other turkeys in there with her and she isn't a free range. Is there something I can do? Thanks for any help!

Is she a broad breasted type? They can get bald tummies from sitting on the ground. If that is the case, about all you can do is make sure she has lots of bedding where she sleeps.
