So out of 100 eggs, I hatched 32 (first hatch, don't open the bator unless necessary!) one died a few days later... I have three goldens in the group, and today I noticed they all had a bald spot!! I thought they were getting picked on, but when I looked closely, it was darker feathers coming in on the top of their heads! Is this normal? Or will the rest of the bird darken too?

its completely normal...some birds can even be born with the feathers coming in like this...well mine does anyway

I have some goldens that have black markings and some that have maroon markings. The black coming in on the heads is fine.
