My Ruby is broody AGAIN.
This time she seems to have lost a lot of feathers from underneath and is red in patches.
Is this normal when broody?
is it safe to put flammazine on her or is she best left alone?

She’s fine, my broody has lost a bit of features. Naturally they loose a bit of features underneath anyway to provide more heat on the eggs, but it would be best to leave her and only take action if your really that concerned.

Thankyou so much for your reply. I feel much better now ;)

If she's sitting on fertile eggs, then I would not apply any ointment.
