I have a golden comet hen she’s probably around 3 or 4 she still gets around good she stays at my farm with some other chickens in the peace and quiet away from the city. I got up here this morning to let them out and she was slow to come out I went in and her belly is tight and swollen and she kinda had a hobble walk because her belly’s in the way. What’s my options here no vet available.

It’s called water belly, and I’m so sorry, but there’s no treatment. I have a bird that’s been diagnosed a while ago, and she’s only gotten worse.
Can you see any other symptoms?

Two different possibilities would be either ascites (water belly,) or internal laying masses could be the cause. Ascites happens from liver disease, usually related to reproductive infection, fatty liver, or heart failure. You can try to withdraw some of the yellow fluid from just under the skin with an 18 gauge needle and large syringe. If yellow fluid is seen, it is a confirmation of water belly. It has a risk of infection, and sometimes death. But occasional draining may relieve pressure and ease breathing.

I felt her for a stuck egg but can’t feel anything. If it’s something that can’t be cured I won’t let her suffer anymore than she has. Other than her swollen belly she looks great nice color feathers are shiny and soft.
