Here is a couple of pics of some of the cuties we hatched out of Julie's silkie eggs. I had them in the incubator and two days before they were due to hatch, I decided to give some to one of my lovely showgirl hens 'Giselle". She has been broody on an empty nest for weeks and I took pity on her and gave her some to hatch. She did a great job!

Thank-you, she is one of my favorites. She makes this little trilling sound when you pick her up and talk to her. I love to hear it. She is a little fiesty girl and sometimes pick on the other chickens, but she is so tender and sweet with the babies. In one of the pics she was letting the buff chick pull on her crest. So sweet!
