Banana spiders

A big ol banana spider made its web from a tree to my duck coop. Is there any chance it can be harmful to my duck? I’m fine with him being there as long as it doesn’t bite my duck or anything.

I don't believe you have anything to worry about. If the Spider is a she and makes an egg sack, you will have many more to maneuver around in that area.

If it were me, I would just catch the spider and relocate it to an area out of your way.
