Banny Hens Still Not Laying?

We have two banny hens that we let go in the yard. We had them out for about 4 months and put them back in the pen. They have been in there for about 3 weeks and still no eggs. Why could this be?
 
How old are they, what breed and are you certain they are hens (some roo bantys have hen feathering)?
