You are too far from me, but I will vouch that Black Langshans are awesome birds. Mine took some getting used to (they are bantams) and are very shy, but they are fantastic (and great mothers) and they have a pretty warbling sound. Mine went broody all summer long (2 or 3 nests).

Once, when one of them had babies, and a hawk was after them, three of them ganged up together and fought the hawk off. I've never seen such fierceness in a small bird). They also kept their babies with them for much longer than any of my BOs or RIRs.
