Bantam Buff Brahma/ Silkie Cross

What do you think? This little guy or girl is 3 1/2 weeks old and already has some thick legs and stands pretty tall. Its skin is turning darker as well. I am thinking he or she may be a little cockerel.


This is my little pullet from the same crossing. She has pink/white skin.

It is too young to tell, but he isn't showing any obvious cockerel signs yet. I'd post new photos when "it" is at least 6-8 weeks old.

Too young to tell for sure. However, I'm leaning towards pullet. But, to be sure, post photos in a couple more weeks.

Did your chick end up being a roo? Don't suppose you have any recent pics? I have a Buff Silkie/Brahma cross too. He/she is 14 weeks. Looks like mine might be a roo because of what appears to be some pointy saddle feathers coming in and darker coloring on the wings. What do you think? He or she?
