Hi. I bought 4 adorable bantam chicks at Tractor Supply this past Sat. I was told they were shipped as an assortment with no breeds listed. All four are clean-legged. 2 are solid soft yellow. The other two are black/tan/white. Any ideas on the breeds? I thought someone might know what is typical in a bantam assortment. Or, do you need to see pics? Thanks for any insight:o)

Okay. Here are some pics of the little guys. Just trying to figure out what kind of bantams they are.

Any thoughts?? Thanks so much.

Why, those are ADORABLE bantams.

(Sorry.... couldn't resist it.)

I have JUST picked up two supposed Silver Sebright bantam chicks, which are about 2 weeks old. They don't look at all like the ones somebody suggested could be Sebrights.

"My" favorite feed store is USUALLY pretty darned good about labeling the chicks correctly. Hmmmm.

Personally, right now my two bantam "Sebright" chicks look awfully like little bitty bald eagles.

I would imagine the OP is saying Golden Sebright, yours is a silver sebright. I got a silver from MM as a free chick last year & she looked llike yours.

After looking at pics of chicks on hatchery websites, I agree that GRYEYES(sp?sorry) probably has silver sebright, and mine are golden sebright. But, I still don't know about the little yellow ones. They are even smaller than the sebright chicks. I so appreciate eveyone's comments. That silver sebright chick is soooo pretty:love
