Got a variety of unsexed exotic and hard to get bantam chicks purchased as straight run from a Texas hatchery. At this age I have an idea of what sex they are, except for the Silkies, which are extremely hard to sex, won't know what sex they are until they are around 4-5 months old and either start to lay or to crow. All were vacinnated for Merek's at the hatchery the day they hatched on April 28. I've raised them indoors in an 8' by 8' tent, feeding them Grubbly Little Pecks Starter Grower Crumble Feed given to them dry and Scratch and Peck Organic Starter Chicken Feed given to them wet, plus a variety of fresh vegetables (leafy greens of assorted lettuces, baby spinach and kale, squash, zucchini, cucumber, corn, deseeded apple, pear, etc). All raised with love. It has been quite costly to raise them, so I'm not really making a profit selling them; I got them so I could keep a few of my favorites and sell the rest. I'm selling each chick for $15 to $25, $50 for pairs. Please email me or send me a text message if you're interested in getting some small young chickens as pets. Before you buy, please make sure you have or can provide the chicks with proper housing, protection from predatores (such as fereal cats, racoons, etc), feeder, waterer, grit and proper feed (chick starter/grower feed, I recommend getting one that is soy-free). Sorry, no delivery, pick up only. I'm located 10 blocks from the nearest train (the number 7 line), 1 block from a bus stop.

Got the following chicks available in limited quantities:

Mottled Cochin/Pekin Bantam - 1 chick, male

White Frizzle Cochin/Pekin Bantam - 1 chick, male

Golden Neck Barbu d'Uccle Bantam - 1 chick, male

Mille Fleur Barbu d'Uccle Bantam - 2 chicks, male

Black Silkie Bantam

Blue Silkie Bantam - 1 chick

White Silkie Bantam - 2 chicks

Easter Egger Bantam 2 chicks

White Crested Polish Bantam - 1 chick, male

Barred Old English Game Bantam 1 chick, female

Blue Mille Old English Game Bantam - 2 chick, 1 male and 1 female - sold as a pair

Golden Neck Old English Game Bantam - 2 chick, 1 male and 1 female - sold as a pair

Buff Laced Sebright Bantam (rare) - 2 chicks, 1 male and 1 female - sold as a pair

Golden Laced Sebright Bantam - 1 chick, female

Blue Laced Red Wyandotte Bantam (rare) - got 3 but 1 is a runt so is much smaller and not feathered out completely yet (body used to looks like a plucked chick until a week ago). They are a slow feathering breed. The 2 larger ones have most of their feathers. I think they might be cockerels, but not sure.

I also have 1 black Silkie that I think is female that I'm giving away for free due to her having a slight crossed beak.

And I also have beautiful (rare) bearded Cream and Golden Brabanter chicks, Silver Spangled Appenzeller Spitzhauben chicks, a Golden Neck Barbu d'Uccle chick, and 1 or 2 Splash Silkie chicks that will be fully feathered and ready to live outdoors in about 4 weeks.

Contact me if interested.

Hi there! I'm hoping one of the admins will move this post to the for sale area. I imagine your intended audience will be more likely to see it there. I wish you the best. So adorable 💜

I brought it to the attention of the admins so you shouldn't need to do anything else 😉

Thank you. I apologize for posting it on the wrong forum.

I also posted on Craigslist. It took a week to get a response, but so far, in 5 days, I've sold 17 chicks (10 pullets and 7 cockerels) and gave away the crossed beak black Silkie pullet to the 1st buyer. People have come from Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island and Connecticut.

Still have about 16 bantam cockerels left (1 golden neck and 1 blue mille fleur Old English Game, 2 mille fleur and 1 golden neck Barbu d'Uccle, 3 buff Sebright, 2 white Frizzle Cochin, 2 Easter Egger, 3 blue laced red Wyandotte, and 1 black Silkie), just a few bantam pullets (1 golden neck and 1 blue mille fleur Old English Game, 1 golden Sebright, and 1 Splash Silkie), and several standard size (silver spangled Appenzeller Spitzhauben) pullets.

Good luck! I sadly had to give away most of my bantam roosters but the pairs did sell and at least you've got the 2 pairs of OEGB. Since you mention living near a bus stop I am guessing you might not live in the country and would need to rehome the roos before they are 2 months old- Is there an auction or show near you you can take them to?

Thank you. I live in Queens, a borough of NYC. No auction or show near. I think I still have 15 roos. I've sold 7 so far in a week, so I'm hoping I can sell a few more of the roos, before I have to resort to giving them away.
