Bantam cochin family

So, my bantam hen Mya, snuck herself an egg and hatched herself a youngster. She is a pair with her hubby ROcky.
I thought I would go with mother nature and leave her in with him.

So far, so good. Mya brings the baby out, and Rocky just looks at it, not sure if he is checking it out for a meal, or looking at it proudly or looking at it like 'what the heck is that"

are the bantams generally a calm breed to leave roos in with?

and are bantam cochins sexlinked as chicks , (they are black)
