Bantam Cochin help

My grandma has a couple bantam Cochin. Thinking they are both roos can anyone tell for sure? They are both 7 weeks old. Thanks everyone

Both cockerels. Pullets do not start to turn red in the comb till they are almost ready to lay eggs.

You definitely got some roos on your hands. Still beautiful birds, though! Is your grandma planning on keeping them?

Yeah I think she is planning on keeping them but not sure. There is those two and a polish roo we know for sure. Thing she is most worried about is the RIR roo that' almost a year old.

I can see how that could be a problem. The older roo is gonna be awfully protective of his girls, but it's been done before. I have two roos and—though they occasionally remind each other who's in charge— they get along just fine.
