Bantam Cochin Hen Making a Gurgling Sound

I have a hen that's a little over a year old.

She occasionally makes a low gurgling sound when my oldest kid is holding her. It sounds a little like a crinkling or growling or purring but seems to be connected to her breathing though I'm not sure. I tried getting a video of it but it's a very low, quiet sound.

I have no pictures because everything else about this hen is fine. I've been monitoring her poop and nothing strange. She has bright eyes, no discharge anywhere. She's one of my more active hens and her feather condition is great. I'm planning to take her to the vet this weekend but I thought I'd ask if anyone here has an idea to what could be wrong.

Sometimes they make a kind of deep purring/growling when they’re happy…just my experience, but if everything else is ok, then they he might just be happy

How is he holding her? Does she look distressed? Are his hands wrapped tightly around each wing, close to his body or loosely and gently? If it is a low purr that sounds cat like, it's probably a happy contented noise.

When your kid is holding her, is it possible he accidentally pushes on her crop? This could cause a gurgling sound I think
