I have 5 bantam cochins who are 6 weeks old. 1 is defintely a hen, the remaining 4 I'm afraid are roos

. If that's the case I need to rehome them. My neighbors aren't very happy with the 3 roos I have now, and I have a 6 week old serama that started crowing this morning

The combs are big for 6 weeks old. All but 1 of my cochin hens have small combs. But 1 has a huge comb and if I hadn't seen her lay I would swear she was a he!

I would wait a little longer.

I have a few banty cochin roos together with a few hens. They get along great- but one roo is always "the daddy". Are they loud? mine sound like they're crowing into a tin can. Too funny.

My little banty roo sounds like a party horn

I don't care because I didn't want a loud rooster in town, but I feel so bad for the little guy. He sounds silly, lol but I love my little guy.

They look like roos to me. My cochin pullet at that age had basically no comb, still doesn't.
