Is it odd that these little guys/gals are chirping at 14 weeks?

They both look like boys, and when I compare their size to the chair(?) and stepping stones, they look like bantams to me. Realize that bantam marans are considerably larger than OEGB or dutch.

How much would you say they weigh?

They look like my Cuckoo Maran roos that I have outside that are about 10 weeks old. Sorry.

Where are you located and did you get the Bantam Marans locally? Looking for Bantam Marans and would appeciate the information.

well locally.. hmm ..

we are on the same planet if that counts

We live in the UK and I have understood that Bantam Marans are not as common in the US .

approx weight , I would guesstimate about just over 1 lbs each ..

Still chirping I put them in the big coop today ..

hm .. they panic , for roos they are awfully chicken

They dont roost yet either ...

But them big green lovely back feathers on Marmite are comeing through.

They have alot of feathers coming though atm.

still hoping Bantams are miraculously diff then standard size, and thats why the girls have the hm ... butch look LOL..
