was candling everyone tonight and all was calm and normal, until i saw this guy!!!! wild chicky in there!!!

i have my 100 watt desk lamp that has a bendable neck on it so i can lie it flat on the desk with the light up, and a cardboard box with a hole cut out just big enough to let the egg rest in it without falling through. i need to make it a bit smaller though, i made it for regular size eggs and these bantam ones let the light through on the sides.

i can even see things growing inside my maran egg! not the EE ones though, i give up on those.

i'll just have to wait and see if they hatch!
